Happy Monday everybody! The Philadelphia Eagles did the unthinkable and won the Super Bowl! WOO! I was out there on broad street last night with the crowd and it was an insane experience! I don’t think I’ve ever seen Philadelphians so friendly! All that said, today I wanted to share an outfit that I’ve been meaning to post for two weeks now, but had so many distractions come up along the way that I could not find a moment to actually sit down and write this. So I hope you all like it!
Do you ever find yourself blankly staring at your closet thinking you have nothing to wear? Ladies, this is every one of us. I know that I have something nice to wear, but I’m always thinking about how often I repeat outfits and where I’m wearing them to. This is why it’s important to always have basic staples in your closet that you can easily accessorize with jewelry or statement footwear. A black dress with bell sleeves is trendy, yet still simple enough that you could re-wear it to multiple outings.
I paired this dress with my favorite pair of boots ever. I waited to get these Prada boots on sale because I wasn’t about to pay 1,600 bucks for these. I got them half off at Neiman Marcus and I do not regret the splurge! The beautiful lace-up detail is what makes them my absolute favorite. Pairing them with simple outfits makes literally anything pop and look snazzy. Also, the block heel makes them comfortable to walk in all day long. Because who wants to pay this much for boots you can’t last over an hour in? Here are some boot details!
The dress is BCBG, also bought on sale (because who pays full price these days). I personally think the key-hole neckline is very flattering on most women. And you guys already know that owning a cute LBD is essential. A dress with bell-sleeves is even cuter! Here are some more pics of the dress.
*FYI, I’m not actually this pale. I was posing in front of a large window and I haven’t exactly mastered my photo angles. I’m working on getting a new lens for my Sony a5100 so hopefully there will be better pictures to come soon!
Mike and I went exploring after shooting in The Study on Drexel’s campus (awesome interior design). We checked out Cira Green, a rooftop park with beautiful views of the city. Look at these views!
