Hi everybody! I hope everyone’s having an awesome week so far. I’m currently enjoying this snow day from work with a cup of tea in hand, Netflix playing in the background wearing my coziest jammies. Could this be my morning every day? Now that we’re transitioning into spring (sort-of?), I thought I’d share an outfit that I’ve been wanting to blog about for the longest time: the modernized denim overall dress. It is this year’s cutest trend if you ask me. I definitely did not enjoy tomboy overalls as an awkward child in the 90s, but they’re making a YUGE comeback in fashion. Rarely do I buy flashy statement trends that fade away after one season, but I could not help passing on this trend. You can style the dress so many different ways, making them wearable for any season. Pair it with a button-up or a casual tee and it looks stylin’ as ever. It’s easily going to become my go-to street-style/bar-hopping/casual staple. I hate to think about putting my OTK boots away for the season because I wear them anywhere and everywhere. That being said, I styled the dress with these very affordable, petite-friendly taupe boots Mike got me last winter. Now the dress is a bit short, so I wore nude stockings this day to keep me a bit warmer. It would look just as good with leggings!
