Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share an outfit that I thought was perfect for transitioning into spring. I wasn’t quite ready to put away my OTK boots, so I incorporated them into this outfit. This is such a quick, comfy look that its been on heavy rotation for me! Also, Mike and I drove past the perfect wall art in Fishtown so you know I had to take advantage of it. This art got me so excited and I cannot wait until the weather gets warmer for better and more colorful photoshoots! Check out my mini shoot in this outfit below. I’ve linked everything (including very affordable dupes). Hope you enjoy! Don’t forget to subscribe, share with a friend, or comment your thoughts below!
The chambray shirt: Versatile, matches with almost anything, and soft! Adding a chambray shirt to your wardrobe is a great idea because it can be so easily dressed up or down, and it pairs very well with other textures/patterns. It is an all year round classic! What more could you want out of a top?
Jeans: I absolutely love Loft jeans. Their petite sizes are actually petite unlike some other brands, and they last so long without showing signs of wear! I’ve had this pair since summer ’17 and it looks like they are still in stock! They’re mid-rise, comfortable, and can also be dressed up. I hate jeans that are rough to the touch, and trust me, these aren’t it! Obviously the fit of jeans depend on your body type, so what might be flattering on me might not be flattering on you. BUT, what makes Loft my favorite store to shop at is because of this reason. They understand that women come in all shapes and sizes and have a variety of different fits ranging from tall, petite, plus, curvy, and slim! I just love them, and I’m not even sponsored (would die for this)!
Boots: I’ve raved about these before, and I’ll keep doing it. My taupe boots are one of the best footwear purchases I’ve ever made. Sometimes I get in this niche where I only buy shoes in standard colors like white/black/brown because I always feel like I won’t get to wear other colors as often. Turns out, I’ve actually worn my taupe boots more often than any other I own! I can last in them all day thanks to the thick heel.
Purse: I bought my purse on sale from Aldo a couple years back, but did find some similar dupes. It reminded me of an embellished Chloé bag so I definitely thought I needed it in my closet. The purse tied the whole look together making it very Bohemian-like. I don’t think I’ve ever used bohemian to describe anything I’ve ever worn, so this is different!
