Hi friends! Glad you’re here. Let’s get right into what was supposed to be my Valentine’s Day look (whoops). With recent news of Karl Lagerfeld passing, I thought it was about time I sat down and wrote this post. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

◊ Edgy
I wanted to style this blazer in a very “wearable” way. Often times, a tweed blazer is styled in a dressy, corporate, or runway manner. I paired it with pointed leather block booties (OBSESSED) and 10-year-old high-waisted jeans (YOU HEARD ME). I was on the hunt for a pair of leather booties for a while, and then these beauties came my way. I was at Macy’s browsing around one long, hard day and I noticed booties were all 50% off! I scored this Nine West pair dirt cheap. I love the gold angled zipper closure, very unique. As for my pants, I’ve been wearing these since the 10th grade. Yes, I know what you’re thinking. How have they not faded?! Beats me. They’re from Charlotte Russe, their “Refuge brand”. They are not petite-friendly, so I made them petite with a pair of scissors, haha! It added an edgier, ragged look about them.
◊ Feminine
My blazer is Karl Lagerfeld, RIP. This beautiful red-pink color is all sold out unfortunately, but there are a few sizes left in the “Lagoon” color at Lord & Taylor. I’ve also linked similar blazers down below. I’m obsessed with the entire fit of this blazer. The fringe trim, the meticulous detail in the stitching are to die for. I especially love that Karl Lagerfeld’s brand brings Chanel inspired pieces at a low cost! So much respect for that man, we really did lose a creative legend. He will go down in history as one of the most celebrated designers of the 21st century. I also added a pair of fiery red fringe earrings to this look, I thought it needed another pop of feminine color to the ensemble. I used the Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette for my eyes, which if you know me you that it is my favorite palette ever. Such beautiful, creamy, feminine shades. It is great for all types of occasions. I’ve linked it down below!
◊ Affordable
As previously mentioned, Karl Lagerfeld‘s brand is very Chanel-esque, brought to shoppers at a low, affordable cost. His dresses, blazers, and tops always catch my eye every time I go into Lord & Taylor. The blazer, the Forever 21 top, pants, and shoes were only 140 bucks. My bag is Chloé, but there are many dupes of this style available on Amazon if you don’t wish to spend a fortune on a handbag. I bought my zipper crop top years ago at Forever 21, so unfortunately I couldn’t find this exact top for ya’ll. I linked some similar black crops down below though!
◊ Comfortable
Best part of the entire outfit? Comfy as heck. The block heeled booties are made to walk in for hours and the pants are high-waisted and stretchy. If you wanted to wear this out to dinner, you could easily button the blazer to hide the post-dinner belly if you wanted, JUST SAYIN. Like I said before, I adore this look for V-day. It would have been cute for a fun Galentine’s night out for drinks, or even a dinner date with your love. I hope you enjoyed this outfit, see ya on my next post!
